Nurse Mary C. Petro worked at the Cresson San from 1917 to 1957, when
she retired. During those forty years she took many photographs which she put in an album and passed down to her
relatives. The collection shown on this website include 235 photos of staff members, nurses, patients, buildings and
snow scenes. Only a few of the photos include the names of people or dates, but these data are shown where available.
In December 2015, I was contacted by Mary's relatives who
informed me of the album's existence and expressed their desire to share the photos on my website. My sincere thanks
to them for this wonderful photo archive spanning 40 years. Any comments may be sent to them as follows:
