Don Dewey, Editor of RC Modeler Magazine, wrote a story in the early 1970's about building model aircraft using corrugated cardboard to introduce modelers to these techniques.  He subsequently published Bob Miller's RC designs consisting of the Cardboard 500, the Fun-Tu and the Heath Parasol as construction articles in RCM.
